No passado 17 de julho de 1981, o 6º Batalhão de Engenharia de Combate (BE 🧲 Cmb) recebeu a designação histórica "Batalhão Tenente-Coronel José Carlos Carvalho",iporá esporte clubeiporá esporte clube homenagem ao então Chefe da Comissão de Engenharia. 🧲 Neste dia, é comemorado o aniversário do 6º BE Cmb, que está subordinado ao II Exército. O batalhão tem como 🧲 área de atuação a cidade de Boa Vista, no estado de Roraima, e é considerado um dos mais atuantes operacionalmente 🧲 no estado.
Na sexta-feira, 23 de junho de 2024, ocorreu a cerimôniaiporá esporte clubeiporá esporte clube homenagem ao novo comandante do 6º Regimento 🧲 de Infantaria de Selva (6º RIS), iniciando um novo período de liderança no comando do batalhão. Durante a cerimônia, houve 🧲 a entrega da Bandeira do Batalhão e acompanhamento musical da unidade.
